About the Role
Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a Logistics Rails to support our Distribution Center team. This role will be responsible for assisting the loader with Rail Car set-up (pre-load).
Responsibilities
- Opening car doors, conducting initial clearing/cleaning of dunnage and various paraphernalia out of car, setting up car for loader (placing serviceable dunnage within and directly outside of the rail car, for loader)
- Assisting with Rail Car Dunnage preparation, separation (serviceable from non-serviceable), organization, disposal, inventory checks, and staging
- Assisting loaders with shrouding pallets
- Track and dock sanitation, including cleaning & sorting equipment, lumber, and rail bed
- Maintaining all areas to 5S standards, including all work areas related to rail loading
- Setting temperature for refer units
- Participating in total production manufacturing (TPM) to include AM, PM, FI, OCCI, EM and HSE pillar teams as required
- Participating in the continuous improvement process, including Why-Why & 7-step process meetings to eliminate losses or waste, including safety issues
- Assisting in getting equipment problems corrected quickly and on time (flow to the work) above and beyond without having to be asked
- Learning and using multi-computer skills which are paramount to the team's success
- Other duties as assigned by supervisory, management and union representatives

Performance Standards
- All duties performed in a safe and acceptable manner as evaluated by the immediate supervisor and with management concurrence
- All sanitation goals are met and adhere to standards and regulatory agencies or are disposed of per standard operating procedures
- All work activities are performed without accident or injury and in accordance with all codes, standards and practices
- The position is expected to take appropriate action to ensure he/she is well informed of goals, operating methods, purpose, safety issues, personnel issues, etc. at all times

Safety
- Forklift safety will be the highest priority for the position. Unsafe behaviors on a forklift will not be tolerated
- Must adhere to PPE requirements set forth by the department
- Ensure all safety rules, procedure, policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are followed
- Will stay up to date on all required peak performance safety training
Skills
- Must be able to use WMS
- Ability to operate complex machinery in the achievement of Sanitation goals
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Must be able to work with computer software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Dashpad
Requirements
- Must be located in Bradenton, FL, surrounding area, or willing to relocate for the duration of employment
- Willingness to be onsite at the manufacturing facility on a full-time basis
- Must be able to perform physical tasks for the duration of the shift, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting/moving items weighing 50 pounds or more
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Must have a valid Forklift driver license
- Job will require overtime, which could include more than 40 hours per week, 7 days a week and up to 12-hour days
