Skills/Requirements
- To qualify for the Management Internship, you must be within THREE semesters of graduation and pursuing a bachelor's degree in one of the following concentrations: Management Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Human Resource Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Retail Management, Hotel/Restaurant Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Merchandising Management, Organizational Leadership & Supervision, Organizational Management, Industrial Management, Technical Management, or Human Resource Management.
- You must have open availability to work 40 hours per week.
- You must possess enthusiasm and the drive to be successful!
About the role
The Management Internship is a 12-week PAID hands-on training experience at our Plano Distribution Center. It is designed to provide you with the necessary skills to be successful with Menards and to prepare you for a management career.
Responsibilities
During the first six weeks of the program, you will work directly with an experienced management team to learn the necessary skills to be successful with Menards. During this time, you will:
- Develop stronger organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Gain hands-on management experience.
In the last six weeks of the program, you will be responsible for managing your own section of a department, applying the skills you have learned. You will also have the opportunity to work directly with our General Management team and spend some time in different departments.
