About the Role

As a Distribution Center Associate, you will support company operations by performing various warehouse duties including but not limited to receiving, inputting, sorting, shipping, loading, and unloading products efficiently while maintaining an organized warehouse. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys staying active while working with a team to achieve daily goals. Responsibilities

  • Receive, examine, and organize incoming shipments; reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with the operations team to rectify damages/shortages.
  • Track and document exact shipment arrival times.
  • Inspect products for defects and damages; record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items.
  • Communicate effectively with the operations team to ensure time-sensitive projects are handled with the proper sense of urgency.
  • Organize warehouse space, stock, and maintain inventory.
  • Label and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type.
  • Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately.
  • Complete periodic stock counts of all inventory.
  • Box, wrap, and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards.
  • Prepare and ship all orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate lifts and hand trucks to move or hoist items to proper areas/storage following all safety procedures.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
  • Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
  • Comply with all company standards as outlined in the employee handbook.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a shipping and distribution environment.
  • Basic proficiency with inventory systems, data entry, and computer skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Clear verbal and written communication for coordinating with team members and vendors.
  • Ensuring accuracy in labeling, packing, and documentation.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.

Pay

$14–$17 USD per hour (Cypress - Main Building).
