Responsibilities
- Unload incoming shipments and verify quantities and labels against inbound paperwork.
- Inspect inbound shipments for freight damage and report issues to the appropriate parties.
- Pick, pack, and load customer orders according to established procedures.
- Check carton quality on picked orders before loading.
- Return misplaced or incorrectly pulled items to the proper bin location.
- Consolidate bin locations as directed.
- Maintain proper product stack heights.
- Follow housekeeping responsibilities for the assigned area.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- At least one year of warehouse experience required
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as a hand truck, dolly, pallet jack, or order picker required
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management System and Datascope for inbound and outbound processing
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Ability to perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, sorting, shipping, and receiving
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while following safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds at any given time
- Basic math skills
- Strong attendance and demonstrated work ethic
- Physical Demands: frequent standing, walking, handling objects, using hands, reaching, occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 75 pounds, occasionally lifting more than 100 pounds, close vision, distance vision, adjusting focus, detecting color differences, hearing, speaking, working indoors, moderate to high stress, exposure to temperature extremes and dust

Schedule
Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Hours depend on business needs, during peak season, overtime is expected including some weekends.
