Distribution Associate

About The Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler Assistant to support evening warehouse operations. In this role, you will assist Material Specialists with receiving, handling, documenting, and storing raw materials, components, supplies, and finished goods. You will also operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to keep materials moving safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively participate in and support the company's strong Safety Culture; adherence is required at all times
• Assist with the receipt, handling, documentation, and storage of materials and finished products
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (training provided if needed)
• Follow all SOPs and maintain required training and certifications (e.g., cGMP, HAZMAT, forklift training)
• Perform warehouse and loading dock cleaning tasks: sweeping, floor scrubbing, dusting, and trash removal
• Accurately document cleaning activities in accordance with required logs and SOPs

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and crouching
• Occasional climbing or balancing
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a variety of conditions, including extreme cold (-25°C freezer)

Work Environment

• Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and cold storage
• Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions, heights, fumes, and airborne particles
• Moderate noise level

Required Skills And Experience

• GMP experience
• Shipping and receiving experience
• Ability to work assigned shift and overtime as needed
• Ability to meet physical and environmental requirements of the role

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in biologics, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments under cGMP
• Forklift certification or prior operational experience
• SAP or similar inventory management experience

Additional Requirements

• Must follow all company PPE and appearance guidelines (no makeup, jewelry, nail polish/fake nails, or eyelash extensions)
• Must have 20/40 vision or better, normal color and depth perception (prescription glasses permitted)
