About the role
Inventory Management and Distribution (IMD) Associates work closely with partner hospitals to manage blood product inventory and meet patient needs. Responsibilities include documenting orders and preparing shipments for delivery to hospitals and other ImpactLife locations.
Responsibilities
- Fill routine and emergency orders while following appropriate procedures to ensure accurate order entry and fulfillment.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and maintain positive, professional communications.
- Assist hospital personnel with inquiries and resolve customer concerns.
- Track and rotate inventory of blood products.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Experience in blood or pharmaceutical inventory management, hospital customer relations, or logistics (preferred).
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and staff at all levels.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Working knowledge of computers.
- Valid driver’s license and REAL ID (required).
- Ability to operate Blood Center vehicles.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, reach, bend, and lift for extended periods; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Pre-employment background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report (required).
Schedule
Part-time position under 30 hours per week, working 3 to 4 days per week from 6 am to 2 pm, with every other weekend rotation.
