Distribution Associate

About the role

While the primary focus of this role is Distribution Associate, the successful candidate may have the opportunity to cross-train in other positions within the department based on organizational needs. Responsibilities

• Interpret sales orders and pull the correct product.
• Perform quality control assessments and stack items safely and securely in the right packaging.
• Follow company picking/packing procedures and efficiently pull product(s) based on daily orders.
• Ensure order pick/count accuracy and meet specifics set forth by supervisor(s) for all orders promptly.
• Report any discrepancies or adjustments needed to the supervisor.
• Handle inventory with care and attention to detail, following good manufacturing practices and required work safety practices.
• Operate various pieces of equipment, such as pallet jacks and pallet wrappers.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Perform work under direct supervision, handling basic issues and problems while referring more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Perform other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be over 21 years of age.
• Available for on-site operations work Monday-Friday; must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Willingness and ability to undergo cross-training in various roles within the department as required.
• Strong reading and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
• Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and/or working on a computer.
• Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (hot or cool).
• Be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.

Pay

$17 USD per hour.
