Distribution Associate- 2nd Shift

About the role

Join our Production Team at AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC). You will be cross-trained across multiple departments in our production plant, allowing you to float where needed before being assigned to a permanent department that aligns with your skills, interests, and the needs of our Operations team. Leadership and growth opportunities are widely available.

Responsibilities

• Operate all machines or tools in the area, including drill presses, miter saws, and table saws.
• Read and execute sales orders to prepare raw material by cutting to precise width and length.
• Adhere to company standards and timelines per work orders.
• Collaborate with the team on performance metrics for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Regularly lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily operations.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand work orders.
• Understanding of technical drawings and schematics is a plus.
• Proficiency in standard hand tools is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM.
