Distribution Associate - 1st Shift (6am-2:30pm + OT)

The company is seeking a Distribution Associate in Denton, Texas, reporting to the Distribution Supervisor. The role involves managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors to support the delivery of top‑tier welding solutions worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Load LTL trucks.
• Process documents and ship confirmations (e.g., packing slips).
• Move materials using multiple forklifts (reach truck, order picker, electric pallet jack, dock stocker).
• Pull and pack customer orders.
• Band pallets.
• Process bill of lading.
• Consolidate PID’s.
• Pick and ship HAZMAT.
• Troubleshoot HAZMAT issues.
• Utilize product knowledge to correctly fulfill orders and escalate issues as needed.
• Work efficiently to attain goals.
• Follow regulatory agency (FDA, UL, or ISO) standards or policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (reading, speaking, and writing).
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience with RF guns preferred.
• Heavy order fulfillment experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Capability to operate forklift equipment and work at heights of up to 30 feet.
• Personal computer skills – SAP, Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work required overtime.
• Physical ability to repeatedly lift material up to 50 lb.
• Strong work record (attendance, attitude, productivity).

Working Conditions

Independent and team‑oriented environment; requires operation of forklift equipment, occasional work at heights of 30 feet, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lb repeatedly. Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
