Distribution and Logistics Manager
About The Role
Your key purpose will be to oversee the efficient movement, storage and distribution of stock to meet the needs of retail shops and online sales channels, helping to maximise income and profitability. The role ensures the smooth operation of the distribution unit as a donation and logistics hub and donation station, leading volunteers in the sorting and allocation of stock and essential supplies, while maintaining a safe, organised and warehouse environment that supports the wider retail business.
About You
- Experience of stock control, warehouse management, delivery scheduling and retail operations
- Proven people management skills
- Strong understanding of health and safety, financial procedures, stock pricing and marketability
- Good IT skills and experience of using Microsoft Office and Excel
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively with a wide range of people
- Commercially aware, target focused, and capable of maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Lead and motivate teams, take a proactive and solution-focused approach to challenges, and remain resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Full clean driving licence and ability to handle physically demanding tasks
