Distributed Systems Engineer, Data & Inference Platform

Responsibilities

• Design and implement distributed systems to support data processing pipelines.
• Develop and maintain scalable and fault-tolerant services using microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Optimize system performance and ensure high availability.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track system health and user behavior.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for distributed systems engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts, including microservices, load balancing, and caching.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in distributed systems (e.g., Python, Java).
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
