Display Operative

About the Role

We’re looking for a Display Operative to join our busy and dynamic team on a thriving car forecourt in Enfield. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive team where every day is different and attention to detail really matters.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the presentation and organisation of the forecourt to the highest standard
• Moving and arranging vehicles as needed, ensuring the site is well-stocked and visually appealing
• Processing new stock deliveries – moving vehicles from the inbound transporter to the forecourt
• Assisting the sales team with stock access and selection
• Managing the yard’s day-to-day operations, including sold, part-exchange, and auction vehicles
• Communicating clearly and professionally with customers, colleagues, and management
• Keeping the forecourt clean, safe, and customer-friendly at all times

Requirements

• Hold a Full Manual UK Driving Licence (any job offer requiring driving company vehicles is subject to a DVLA check)
• Applicants with six or more penalty points or a previous disqualification may not meet insurance requirements and may not be eligible for employment

Qualifications

• Good communication skills
• Self-motivated with high standards
• Previous experience in a similar role or within the motor trade (desirable)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective time management and flexibility in working patterns
