As a Display Associate, you will be part of a professional team environment, assisting fellow associates and customers in retrieving freight, putting display items on the floor, and providing world-class customer service. Responsibilities
- Maintain body forms throughout the store by lifting and moving them and changing their clothing.
- Research lifestyle and design trends to ensure displays appeal to the target audience.
- Recognize needed changes in product placement or displays on the sales floor and take action to improve them while communicating with shop managers.
- Install or dismantle displays throughout the store.
- Assist in setting up displays in various areas of the store.
- Set large displays as directed by the corporate display team.
- Install graphics of different materials throughout the store.
- Straighten, fold, and hang clothing.
- Use ladders, drive, and operate scissor lifts to access high points off the ground.
- Dust and clean tables, bases, and risers.
- Take photos of designated displays and submit them to the corporate display team.
- Teach Scheels' display standards to designated associates.
- Work assigned schedule, which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Perform other duties assigned by Lead or Supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum of an associate’s degree from a 2-year college or technical school, or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Heavy work – exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Follow all safety procedures to minimize the risk of injury.
Schedule
This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
