Dispensing Systems Technician
About the role
The Dispensing Systems Technician installs, upgrades, and maintains dispensing equipment at customer sites. They perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled systems. The technician troubleshoots pumps, motors, pneumatic valves, flow meters, and level sensors. They assist with system commissioning, demonstrations, and quality control activities. Accurate service records must be maintained, and QA/QC standards must be followed. The technician provides professional technical support to customers and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, and maintain dispensing equipment at customer sites
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled systems
- Troubleshoot pumps, motors, pneumatic valves, flow meters, and level sensors
- Aid with system commissioning, demonstrations, and quality control activities
- Maintain accurate service records and follow QA/QC standards
- Provide professional technical support to customers and internal teams
Requirements
- 2-year technical degree or 4+ years of hands-on industrial/manufacturing experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Experience with PLC and HMI programming
- Knowledge of pumps, pneumatic systems, liquid metering, and industrial controls
- Ability to read and follow SOPs and technical documentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Qualifications
- Up to 60% travel; occasional weekend work as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- ACM is a non-smoker/non-vaper environment
