Dispensing Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately and in a timely manner.
• Review prescriptions and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Perform tracking, verification, and pre-shipment review processes.
• Follow established guidelines, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Make independent decisions regarding work methods when appropriate.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and support problem-solving efforts.
• Communicate clearly with internal partners and maintain a high level of professionalism.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Active pharmacist license in the state(s) of practice.
• Eligibility to participate in federal prescription programs.
• Strong self-direction and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaborative skills.
• High level of accuracy, productivity, and work ethic.
• Strong communication and computer proficiency.
• Commitment to improving the consumer experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 or more years of experience in a high-volume community pharmacy or mail order pharmacy environment.
