Key Responsibilities
- Open and/or close the store following all security, cash handling, alarm, and compliance protocols
- Lead and support Budtenders, Fulfillment staff, and Reception Associates during assigned shifts
- Serve as the on-duty manager in the absence of senior leadership; make sound operational decisions independently
- Maintain strict compliance adherence, ensuring all transactions are fully compliant with DHSS-DCR regulations, purchase limits, and company policy throughout each shift
- Monitor product inventory and sales floor presentation; flag discrepancies or concerns to management promptly
- Resolve customer concerns with professionalism, empathy, and urgency
- Coach team members in real-time, reinforcing service standards, compliance expectations, and product knowledge
- Complete all required opening and closing checklists, daily shift logs, and compliance documentation accurately
- Communicate shift-level wins, issues, and team observations to GM and Assistant Manager
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older (required by Missouri DHSS-DCR)
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Missouri Facility Agent ID through DHSS-DCR/MyComplia prior to starting employment
- Minimum 1 year of retail supervisory, key holder, or shift lead experience; cannabis experience is a strong plus
- Clear, confident communication and natural leadership presence
- Comfortable with compliance documentation, cash handling, and POS systems
- Able to remain composed and decisive under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Prior cannabis dispensary or regulated retail experience preferred
- Familiarity with METRC or seed-to-sale tracking systems preferred
- Experience developing junior team members preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage: $23.50/hr
