Dispensary Nurse LPN/RN - Mobile Clinic

We Care Daily Clinics (WCDC) is a warm, welcoming, and modern facility providing treatment for addiction in a person-centered environment. WCDC seeks to renew hope and purpose for those battling opioid use by removing barriers, offering a holistic approach to recovery, and utilizing evidence-based treatment to restore healthy living. Our top priority is delivering the highest levels of patient-centered care through an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) using FDA-approved medication paired with behavioral health counseling. Individual service plans are built around patients in a supportive, safe environment to create personalized pathways to recovery. In addition to recovery services, we provide planned patient transportation and family and social support.

About the role

The Mobile Dispensary Nurse plays a critical role in delivering compassionate, member-centered opioid treatment directly to communities via mobile units. This position ensures the safe and efficient dispensing of medication, maintains regulatory compliance, and supports daily clinical operations. The ideal candidate is a skilled and adaptable nurse with a passion for community-based care.

Responsibilities

• Dispensary Operations
  • Accurately dispense prescribed opioid agonist medications in accordance with clinic protocols and regulations.
  • Track, reconcile, and report medication inventory for each shift.
  • Ensure dispensary operations run smoothly and efficiently, escalating supply needs as needed.
• Clinical Duties
  • Administer and document tuberculosis (TB) testing and follow-up care, including referrals for chest x-rays.
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and timely records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Provide general nursing support as directed by the Mobile Nurse Clinical Supervisor.
• Regulatory Compliance
  • Safeguard all medications, records, and controlled documents per DEA, DOH, and OTP guidelines.
  • Stay current on relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Support regulatory audits and internal reviews to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Teamwork & Collaboration

  • Actively participate in team meetings, trainings, and development opportunities.

Requirements

• Education & Licensure
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Active Washington State nursing license (LPN or RN).
  • BLS certification (or must obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Experience
  • At least 1 year of direct patient care experience in a clinical setting.
  • Preferred: Experience working in an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) dispensary.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with medication inventory systems and dosing protocols.
  • Preferred: Background in behavioral health or mental health care.
• Additional Requirements
  • Proficient in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with diverse populations.
  • Must pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
  • No current or recent history of substance use.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, sit, and move for extended periods during a shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs (e.g., supplies, equipment, files).

Work Environment

This position is based in a mobile clinic setting and requires flexibility to travel across communities, often in underserved or remote areas. Adaptability, problem-solving, and a commitment to field-based care are essential.

Pay

Salary range: $41–68 per hour.
