About the role

The Dispensary Associate guides customers on their cannabis journey by educating them on product benefits, effects, and providing exceptional service. This role facilitates purchases in compliance with state regulations while delivering a superior customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers with empathy and compassion.
  • Deliver the TruExperience through elevated service standards, behaviors, and product knowledge.
  • Assist managers and shift supervisors with returns according to company policy.
  • Prepare and process patient orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Follow all Trulieve policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with leadership to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues.
  • Assist customers with product or device concerns and document issues on customer profiles.
  • Maintain a clean, well-stocked workstation throughout the shift.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management, which may include:
    • Delivery Associate (as needed): Fulfill delivery driver duties with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
    • Online Support (as needed): Process online orders, including deliveries, within a 2-hour timeframe.

Requirements

  • High-school diploma or equivalent; experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
  • Minimum age of 21 (18 in CT, PA, and WV).
  • Prior cash handling experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively in a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal and professionalism.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions and interact respectfully with customers and team members.
  • Conversational English proficiency for customer interactions and equipment operation.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for delivery duties.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Physical capacity to perform job duties, including:
    • Moving intermittently throughout the workday.
    • Using senses (or prosthetics) to meet position requirements.
    • Lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 50 lbs.
    • Ascending/descending stools, ladders, or steps.
    • Positioning at floor level (e.g., crouching, kneeling, crawling).
    • Occasional seated work.
  • Ability to work with diverse individuals, including those who may be ill, disabled, elderly, or emotionally upset.

Pay

$16.50 an hour, plus tips.

Schedule

  • Flexible hours based on store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Up to 25 hours per week, with availability for "after hours" as needed.
