About the Opportunity:The Dispatcher/Router Combo role focuses on coordinating waste collection operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. This position is responsible for managing driver assignments, route planning, and resolving service issues, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational productivity. The role requires effective communication with drivers, customers, and internal departments to maintain seamless daily operations. 3. Responsibilities:• Communicate with drivers to assist with problem resolution during routes across multiple business lines.• Handle incoming service orders and direct drivers accordingly.• Resolve service issues and manage interactions with customer service, sales, and operational staff.• Use proprietary software to manage same-day ticket routing and prepare routes for the following day.• Dispatch drivers based on customer needs, driver locations, and load balancing.• Optimize routes in coordination with service departments to meet customer demands.• Determine driver staffing levels daily to balance responsiveness and productivity.• Assign routes and service tickets and ensure route completion.• Manage incoming calls and emails related to container pick-up or delivery requests.• Communicate proactively with customers to resolve on-site service delays.• Troubleshoot and resolve potential delivery or pick-up problems promptly.• Ensure same-day service for missed pick-ups by tracking driver movements. 4. Requirements:• High School Diploma or G.E.D.• Minimum six months of relevant experience in a team environment.• Strong communication skills across multiple departments.• Ability to multitask and organize effectively in a fast-paced setting.• Preferred experience in dispatch, routing, or logistics.• Must reside within the South Atlantic Market Area (GA, SC, NC).• Strong computer competency. 5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Pay range: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, dependent on experience, skills, and other factors. 6.
