Dispatcher / Logistics Coordinator

At Reed Restaurant Repair, we specialize in commercial restaurant equipment repair for restaurants and foodservice businesses throughout the region. We're seeking an experienced Dispatch & Logistics Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping everything running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Dispatching and scheduling technicians for maximum efficiency.
• Cooking emergency service calls while minimizing downtime.
• Managing the daily service board and adjusting schedules as priorities change.
• Communicating professionally with customers regarding appointment times and updates.
• Confirming next-day appointments.
• Receiving, organizing, and staging incoming parts for technicians.
• Matching parts to work orders and maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Supporting office operations to ensure exceptional customer service every day.

Requirements

• Previous dispatching experience in a related field (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, restaurant equipment repair, towing, trucking, restoration).
• Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.
• Successfully manages multiple priorities throughout the day.
• Communicates professionally and confidently with customers and technicians.
• Remains calm and solution-focused when schedules change.
• Dependable, accountable, and enjoys working as part of a team.
• Learns new software quickly and is comfortable using computers throughout the day.

Qualifications

This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate should have experience dispatching in a service industry and possess the skills listed above.

Pay

$22.00-$27.00 per hour, depending on experience.
