DISPATCHER II

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and controls delivery of ready-mix concrete for current days schedule.
• Receives orders and schedules future ready-mix concrete deliveries.
• Supervises and directs the work of batch plant operators, loader operators and ready-mix drivers.
• Communicates with the Concrete Operations Manager and Maintenance Department to ensure that equipment work orders are current.
• Utilizes all information passed from the Sales Department for maximum results.
• Processes and posts required information on delivery tickets to ensure accurate invoice billing.
• Receives and balances all transactions for COD sales.
• Consistently administers the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Always works safely and takes action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Basic math and computer knowledge
• Familiar with Oahu streets, highways and traffic
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule
