About the role

At Mr. Handyman and HM Remodeling, we are seeking a seasoned industry and service professional to join our office team as an Office Professional. You will answer customer phone calls, assist clients with booking jobs, schedule and route technicians, and support our service professionals in delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Lead management and scheduling – handle inbound and outbound customer communications while organizing work and managing schedules for service professionals.
• Make recommendations and manage expectations with customers – communicate to guide them through projects and assist with managing expectations.
• Create lifelong customers – deliver a great experience that wows every customer by following the Mr. Handyman Way, a repeatable process to impress customers consistently.

Requirements

• Must live within the South Bend area.
• Minimum of 5+ years of construction industry experience.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Professional communication skills and proper phone etiquette.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing professional demeanor.
• Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
• Previous construction or handyman experience.
• Self‑starter with initiative.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
