Dispatcher | Business Aviation

Location: Must be located on the East Coast (preference for Tampa, FL).

About the role

World Fuel is a global leader in aviation fuel solutions, delivering exceptional service and reliable fuel logistics. The Dispatcher – Business Aviation supports the Business Aviation team, ensuring smooth fuel deliveries for General Aviation customers.

Responsibilities

• Customer Support: Receive fuel requests via email or phone and confirm details with clients.
• Order Management: Enter orders into the GA order entry system (OTS) and lock in pricing.
• Dispatch Coordination: Arrange fuel deliveries with preferred carriers and confirm successful completion.
• Problem‑Solving: Quickly resolve logistical issues and recommend alternative solutions when needed.
• Cross‑Team Collaboration: Work closely with Supply, Accounting, and other departments to keep operations running seamlessly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 1–6 months of experience in dispatching, customer service, or communication roles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally via phone and email.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with rotating weekend shifts for on‑call coverage.
