Responsibilities
- Oversee incoming alarm activity from commercial accounts and evaluate signals that require immediate attention.
- Manage alerts involving burglary, fire, medical, trouble, and supervisory conditions while following established response procedures.
- Contact customers, emergency services, and designated contacts to confirm events and coordinate the appropriate next steps.
- Communicate in a calm, attentive manner during time-sensitive situations involving customers and responders.
- Record alarm events, response actions, and communication details thoroughly within the monitoring platform.
- Enter, review, and update account information in computer systems with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Prioritize multiple active situations at once in a fast-paced monitoring environment while making sound decisions quickly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in dispatching, alarm monitoring, call center operations, customer service, or emergency response is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Comfortable using several computer applications and navigating software efficiently.
- High attention to detail with consistent accuracy in documentation and data entry.
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must be able to complete required screening requirements and fingerprinting.
- Dependable, punctual, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-moving setting.
