Dispatch Security Officer - Holland MI

About the role

The Security Officer position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in the security field or law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine fire watch patrols throughout the facility.
• Monitor several hundred security cameras for alarms and unusual activity.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports.
• Operate and communicate effectively using two-way radios.
• Perform basic map reading and navigation within the facility.
• Auxiliary with emergency dispatching as needed.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Schedule Rotating 12-hour shifts.
• Week 1: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Thursday (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Week 2: Friday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in the security field or law enforcement (preferred).
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

• Must have excellent Customer Service skills.
• Must pass our drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.

Pay

$25.00/hour

Schedule

Schedule Rotating 12-hour shifts.

Week 1: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Thursday (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Week 2: Friday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

• Security Officers/Security Guards observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Frequently provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
