Dispatch Logistics Planner

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day transportation needs of multiple customers in various regions.
• Consolidate shipments into multi-stop loads to reduce freight costs.
• Create optimized transportation schedules for LTL and TL shipments utilizing Transportation Management Software.
• Track and trace shipments daily, troubleshoot problems with shipments as they arise.
• Communicate updates and/or any load issues to customers.
• Obtain and negotiate rate quotes with customers.
• Manage carrier linehaul and accessorial costs.
• Track carrier performance, including on-time service, claims, and acceptance ratios.
• Continually assess processes and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relations.
• Work effectively as a strong team member.

Schedule

Monday to Friday (after hours, weekend, and holiday work may be required).
