Dispatch Communications Associate 2 - FOP OLC

Responsibilities

  • Receives and/or relays radio communications, telephone calls, pages, overhead announcements, correspondences and teletypes.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all operational security systems and surveillance equipment.
  • Maintains accurate daily logs and ensures quality assurance at all times.
  • Acts as a courteous liaison between the Department of Security and Hospital staff members, internal medical center departments, patients, visitors, and external law enforcement, fire, and EMS entities.
  • Maintains a professional demeanor while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Operates telecommunication, radio access control, and CCTV equipment.
  • Holds good computer and data entry skills.
  • Possesses strong verbal communication and teamwork skills.
  • Alerts supervisor or manager about problems regarding department equipment as soon as they are discovered.
