Disney Store: Sales Associate (Seasonal)

About the role

The Seasonal Cast Member role is a temporary, part-time, non-exempt position running from late September to mid-January. This position does not guarantee an offer for permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver "The Best Retail Experience in the World" by engaging guests with an entertaining and magical experience.
• Support the Disney Store Mission: "Creating Magical Moments for Guests of all Ages."
• Connect with guests using open-ended questions to assess needs and provide appropriate suggestions.
• Contribute to a high-energy, fast-paced environment that entertains and engages guests.
• Assist guests in finding solutions that meet their needs, leveraging resources like DisneyStore.com.
• Treat all guests and cast members with respect, fostering a positive work environment.
• Maintain Disney brand standards in guest engagement, visual merchandising, and housekeeping.
• Perform cash wrap and mobile POS duties efficiently while maintaining high guest service standards.
• Participate in shipment processing, sales floor replenishment, and other operational tasks.
• Uphold company policies as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures, Employee Policy Manual, and Code of Business Conduct.
• Promote and maintain a safe working and shopping environment.

Requirements

• Available to work a flexible schedule, including overnights, evenings, holidays, weekends, and call-in shifts (if permitted).
• Must be available a minimum of two (2) shifts Monday through Friday with weekend availability.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 45 lbs. and climb a ladder.
• Must submit verification of legal right to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Qualifications

• Retail or service experience preferred, with demonstrated guest-focused engagement.
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to receive and act on feedback appropriately.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and meet Disney Store grooming guidelines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in specialty retail or service industry is a plus.

Pay

The pay rate for this role is $13.50 per hour.
