Disney's the Little Mermaid (Water Cast)

We are looking for a skilled and passionate line producer with a knack for scheduling and budgeting to join us on an exciting journey to bring an upcoming feature film to life.

About the Project

This is an independent feature film production in development. As the line producer, you will play a critical role in managing the budget, schedule, and logistics to ensure the film is completed on time and within financial constraints.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the film’s budget, ensuring cost-effective production without compromising creative vision.
• Create and maintain detailed shooting schedules, including pre-production, production, and post-production timelines.
• Oversee day-to-day production logistics, including crew hiring, equipment rentals, and location scouting.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors, crew members, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor expenditures and provide regular financial reports to the production team and financiers.
• Problem-solve on set to address unexpected challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to the production.
• Collaborate closely with the director, producers, and department heads to align on creative and logistical goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a line producer or production manager on independent feature films or high-quality narrative projects.
• Strong expertise in budgeting and scheduling software (e.g., Movie Magic Budgeting, Movie Magic Scheduling, or equivalent).
• Deep understanding of film production workflows, from pre-production through post-production.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience managing teams and collaborating with creative professionals.
• Knowledge of industry standards, union/non-union requirements, and legal considerations in film production.
