Dishwashing Lead

About the role

Nuage Designs is a luxury event rentals company founded in Miami's Wynwood district in 2004. We're now expanding and seeking an experienced Dishwasher Lead to oversee daily dishwashing operations, ensuring all items meet company standards and are prepared efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing Operations and Quality Control
• Lead and participate in washing, drying, and inspecting tabletop items
• Ensure all items are cleaned, sanitized, polished, and rental-ready
• Identify and remove damaged or defective items
• Maintain sanitation standards and quality expectations
• Ensure accurate counts and return to inventory
• Operations and Workflow Management
• Assign daily tasks and work alongside team members
• Monitor workflow and ensure timely turnaround
• Cook with Inventory and Fulfillment teams
• Track output and improve efficiency
• Ensure proper sorting and handling to reduce breakage
• Equipment, Facilities & Maintenance
• Oversee dishwashing equipment operation and performance
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot minor issues and coordinate repairs
• Manage chemicals and supply inventory
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Training and Safety
• Train team members on procedures and equipment
• Enforce safety protocols and proper handling
• Promote a safe working environment

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse, dishwashing, or production environments
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must
• Preferred leadership or supervisory experience

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday in a warehouse environment
• Frequently required to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted; team lift required for items exceeding 50 lbs
• Must be able to operate powered industrial equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks to move inventory safely
• Must be able to remain on feet for extended periods and move throughout a large warehouse facility
