Maintain sanitary condition

  • Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen including dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, and equipment.
  • Operate dish washing machine according to procedure manual.
  • Ensure proper soap and rinse chemicals are loaded for washing.
  • Remove from service any damaged or broken dishes, utensils, and glassware.
  • Stock delivered food and non-food items.
  • Empty and clear garbage bins and breakdown of boxes.
  • Deep clean the kitchen and equipment.

Training and In-Service Seminars

  • Attend all training and in-service seminars.

Work Environment

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Strive to maintain a safe working environment through accident prevention, equipment preservation, and safe working practices.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors, and co-workers.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years old or have a workers permit.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous kitchen experience preferred.
  • Pass a state, federal background check and drug test.
