Maintain sanitary condition
- Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen including dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, and equipment.
- Operate dish washing machine according to procedure manual.
- Ensure proper soap and rinse chemicals are loaded for washing.
- Remove from service any damaged or broken dishes, utensils, and glassware.
- Stock delivered food and non-food items.
- Empty and clear garbage bins and breakdown of boxes.
- Deep clean the kitchen and equipment.
Training and In-Service Seminars
- Attend all training and in-service seminars.
Work Environment
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Strive to maintain a safe working environment through accident prevention, equipment preservation, and safe working practices.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors, and co-workers.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or have a workers permit.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous kitchen experience preferred.
- Pass a state, federal background check and drug test.
