Dishwasher-Utility - PT
About the role
Givens Estates, a non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community, is seeking a Part-Time Dishwasher/Utility team member to support our Independent Living Dining team. The primary purpose of this position is to be flexible and knowledgeable in the areas of the dish room, stock, cleaning, and sanitation of equipment and food preparation.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all dish room equipment is in good working condition
- Complete all opening and closing duties as assigned
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Sweep and mop the area daily to maintain required sanitary standards
- Check in stock by physically comparing the invoice to the product and verify appropriate temperatures, correct products, mispicks, and damage to shipments
- Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
Requirements
- Prefer on-the-job three (3) months of supervised training
- Working knowledge of sanitary standards related to food handling and preparation
- Must know or have the ability to handle and operate equipment in the assigned area

Pay
$17.50 - $19.00/hour, based on experience.
Schedule
Fridays and Saturdays from 2PM to 9PM and Sundays from 8AM to 6:30PM.
