Dishwasher (PT)
Capital Canyon Club in Prescott, Arizona is seeking a motivated part-time Dishwasher to contribute to a positive experience for members and guests while supporting kitchen operations.
About the role
The Dishwasher maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all kitchen equipment, service ware, and back-of-house areas, ensuring a continuous flow of clean dishes, utensils, and cookware during high-volume service periods.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained, and organized at all times.
- Adhere to all sanitation guidelines.
- Collect and remove trash from all areas; keep waste bin area clean and tidy.
- Perform general cleaning: sweeping, mopping, washing up, emptying bins, and ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Clean and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and other minor kitchen equipment following established procedures.
- Check chemical levels and inventory.
- Wash, wipe, sort, stack dishes, and load/unload the dishwasher.
- Clean and sanitize workstations.
- Report maintenance or hazard issues to the manager.
- Assist in light food preparation as directed by the manager.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- No prior experience necessary.
