Dishwasher - Part Time

JOB SUMMARY

Turfway Park Racing & Gaming is seeking a Dishwasher to join our team. This position is part-time and involves maintaining a clean kitchen, washing and sorting soiled dishes, setting up dish stations, and assisting with food deliveries.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes.
• Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized.
• Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks.
• Maintains clean / dry floors throughout the shift.
• Properly washes, stacks, and stores china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.
• Changes water of machines as required by business levels, and properly uses chemical dilutions.
• Affords assistance in the timely storing of food deliveries.
• Maintains trash cans throughout shift and removes full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift.
• Fulfills any other duties requested by the chef as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to obtain KY Racing License.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

• Stand, walk, use hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• May lift, push, and pull up to 25lbs.
• Circulate throughout the assigned areas, including the smoking area, actively observing players and functioning of machines.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
