DISHWASHER (FULL TIME)

Location: Kamehameha Schools, Kapalama - 1887 Makuakane Street, Honolulu, HI 96817

Schedule

Full time, Monday through Friday. Shifts are either 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or 10:45 am to 7:30 pm.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience with a 3-compartment sink and belt-driven dish machine

Responsibilities

• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes; wash by hand or load into racks/conveyor for machine washing
• Wash pots, pans, and trays following assigned procedures
• Polish silver using burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth
• Maintain complete cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment, surfaces, and work areas
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain proper temperatures and chemical levels
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces
• Remove trash and place in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
• Assist with loading and unloading supplies and product
• Perform other duties as assigned

Pay

Fixed pay rate: $19.00 per hour
