DISHWASHER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)
About the role
Fresh Ideas is seeking immediate full-time and part-time Dishwasher positions at Asbury University, located at 1 Macklem Drive, Wilmore, KY 40390. Online applications are accepted only. Schedules vary, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Prior dishwashing experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
- Washes pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures.
- Polishes silver using various methods.
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined.
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
- Cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces.
- Removes trash and places it in designated containers.
- Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Helps load and unload supplies and products.
Requirements
Prior dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior dishwashing experience is preferred but not required.
Skills
Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and basic computer skills are beneficial.

Pay
$12.00 per hour to $15.00 per hour.
