About the role

The Orchards Assisted Living is a warm, welcoming community dedicated to providing quality care and comfort to our residents. Our dining services play an important role in creating a home-like experience, and we’re looking for a reliable Dishwasher to support our kitchen team. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas. This role helps ensure our residents and staff enjoy meals in a safe, clean, and pleasant environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and food preparation equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dish room, and dining areas
• Properly store clean dishes and kitchen supplies
• Assist with basic kitchen cleanup tasks as needed
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and infection control guidelines
• Work cooperatively with kitchen and dining staff

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Attention to cleanliness and safety
• Prior dishwasher or kitchen experience is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up
