Dishwasher

About the role

The Dishwasher performs various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, including dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, and storage and rotation of food and supplies. This role also handles janitorial duties in dining services areas such as the dining room and kitchen, ensuring all food handling, storage, and cleaning activities comply with sanitary procedures and federal, state, and local regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and pots
• Clean kitchen equipment and general kitchen areas
• Perform janitorial duties in dining rooms and other service areas
• Store and rotate food and supplies according to sanitary and regulatory standards
• Handle food in compliance with safety and hygiene procedures

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb, or work in confined spaces
