Dishwasher

About the role

The Dishwasher performs various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, including dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, and storage and rotation of food and supplies. This role also handles janitorial duties in dining services areas such as the Dining Room, Bistro, and other associated dining activity spaces. Responsibilities include adhering to sanitary procedures and standards, as well as complying with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures for food storage, cleaning, and preparation.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and pots
• Clean kitchen equipment and general kitchen areas
• Perform janitorial duties in dining services areas (e.g., Dining Room, Bistro)
• Store and rotate food and supplies according to sanitary and regulatory standards
• Handle food storage and cleaning activities in compliance with procedures

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb, or work in confined spaces
