About the role

The Dish Technician position at Mesero is a part-time/full-time role offering a pay rate of $14.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to Mesero's cleanliness standards.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the dish area, ensuring it is fully stocked with cleaning supplies.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of kitchen waste, following all sanitation and safety procedures.
• Absorb and assist kitchen staff by providing clean kitchen equipment and ensuring all items are returned to the appropriate stations.
• Help with cleaning kitchen floors, countertops, and food preparation areas as needed.
• Ensure that all health and safety standards are met, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues with kitchen equipment to management.
• Absorb with setting up, breaking down, and cleaning up kitchen stations before and after shifts.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Up to date certifications required by state regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
