About the role

A Dishwasher at Kolter Hospitality delivers service excellence to the Kitchen team by ensuring the kitchen is clean, orderly, and sanitized. This position is responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen, including dishes, flatware, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate dish machine in the prescribed manner to clean and sanitize all china, glass, silver, pots, pans, silverware, etc., according to proper cleaning and product standards.
• Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of kitchen floors and mats during and at the end of shifts.
• Store glassware, plates, flatware, and kitchen equipment in proper racks and organize them correctly.
• Clean walls and kitchen equipment, and empty trash cans in a timely manner.
• Correctly use, store, and label chemicals.
• Set up hot boxes and assist with plate-up when needed.
• Assist with bussing when necessary.
• Report any items in need of repair and faulty or broken equipment immediately.
• Ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
