About the role

The Dishwasher performs various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, including dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, and storage and rotation of food and supplies. Handles all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards, complying with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and pots
• Clean kitchen equipment and work areas
• Store and rotate food and supplies according to sanitary standards
• Comply with all regulatory procedures for food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb, or work in confined spaces
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
