Dishwasher

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glasses, guest’s utensils, and kitchen utensils (machine and by hand, as needed)
• Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean
• Understand and practice proper sanitation standards
• Take out the trash at the end of each shift

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working as a dishwasher in an upscale, yet casual, fast-paced restaurant
• Familiarity with back-of-house operations in a restaurant setting
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to stay positive and calm under pressure
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Ability to clearly communicate with other team members
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods
• Ability to push and carry heavy objects
