Dishwasher

Salary range $15–16 per hour depending upon experience.

Schedule

• Monday 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM
• Tuesday–Thursday 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM
• Opportunity for additional dish shifts or cross-training as a server when available

Responsibilities

• Clean and put away dirty food-preparation dishes, utensils, serving dishes, and utensils
• Bus tables and assist with minimal food preparation
• Follow all food-safety procedures
• Store perishable and non-perishable goods
• Assist in food preparation under the supervision of the Kitchen Director

Requirements

• Current state-required food-handling card (we can assist you in obtaining this)
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
• Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions and make decisions
• Reliable transportation and ability to work a regular schedule, including on-call as needed
• Effective communication with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public
• Meet all health requirements
• Perform duties and responsibilities (essential job functions) with or without reasonable accommodation
• Pass a criminal background check
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
