Dishwasher

About the role

The Dishwasher performs kitchen cleaning and storage tasks including dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, and food and supply storage and rotation. Additional duties include janitorial work in dining areas such as the Dining Room and Bistro, and compliance with sanitary and regulatory procedures for food handling, storage, cleaning, and preparation.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and pots
• Clean kitchen equipment and general kitchen areas
• Store and rotate food and supplies according to sanitary standards
• Perform janitorial duties in dining service areas (Dining Room, Bistro, etc.)
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures for food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb, or work in confined spaces
