Dishwasher

About the role

The Dishwasher performs various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, including dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, and storage and rotation of food and supplies. This role also handles janitorial duties in dining services areas such as the Dining Room and Bistro, and ensures compliance with sanitary procedures and all federal, state, and local regulatory standards for food storage, cleaning, and preparation.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and pots
• Clean kitchen equipment and general kitchen areas
• Store and rotate food and supplies
• Perform janitorial duties in dining services areas (Dining Room, Bistro, etc.)
• Comply with sanitary procedures and regulatory standards for food handling, storage, and cleaning

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb, or work in confined spaces
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrated good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
