About The Role As a Dishwasher at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will be the heart of our dining service program! The Dishwasher is responsible for all sanitation and cleaning of the kitchen and for ensuring that all food preparation equipment, dishes and utensils are clean, sanitized and safely and efficiently stored and ready for use. YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen, including operating the dish machine, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining appliancesEnsure proper storage and handling of food and equipment to meet health and safety standardsAssist cooks with non-food preparation tasks as neededMaintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen and dish room environmentAssist with stocking following food deliveriesMake hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 17 years of ageProfessional, pleasant and team oriented attitudeMust be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written EnglishDemonstrated ability to follow instruction for daily assignmentsExperience with cleaning standards in a commercial food operationsAbility to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as neededConsistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the communityOffers of employment are contingent upon completion of applicable post-offer pre-employment screenings, which may include a job-related background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing, consistent with applicable laws.
