Dishwasher

Maintained Kitchen and Dining Areas

• Cleans and sanitizes all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen and dining room equipment.
• Cleans floors, equipment, and other areas as assigned.
• Promotes a restaurant style dining atmosphere.

Customer Service and Collaboration

• Provides high level of customer service.
• Works closely with the Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director to ensure resident satisfaction with food and dining programs.

General Kitchen Maintenance

• Maintains kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.
• Washes and stores dishes and equipment according to policy and procedures.
• Maintains dish room area in a neat, clean, and sanitary manner.
• Keeps kitchen floors clean (sweeps and mops) and trash emptied.

Special Events and Banquets

• Assists with the preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• Attends pre-meal stand up in kitchen prior to meal service.

Additional Duties

• Assists cooks and wait staff as requested.
• Adheres to Quality Enhancement standards and standard food safety practices.
• Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
