Position Summary

Dishwashers are essential to the operation of a clean, safe, and organized kitchen. They clean and sanitize all cookware, utensils, and back-of-house equipment while supporting the culinary team with basic kitchen upkeep before, during, and after service.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Sanitation
• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean pots, pans, plates, utensils, and kitchen tools.
• Organize and return clean equipment to designated stations promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of dish pit, floors, and trash receptacles.
• Support & Teamwork
• Assist cooks and prep team with equipment or cleanup during high-volume periods.
• Help restock kitchen supplies, disposables, and sanitized wares.
• Safety Compliance
• Follow venue standards for safe chemical use, sanitization, and hygiene.
• Wear PPE and follow personal safety practices in a wet, fast-paced area.

Requirements

• Previous dishwasher or janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a hot, humid back-of-house environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn kitchen basics and support the team however needed.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs.
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions including heat, rain, and varying weather.
• Must follow all venue safety protocols and food handling regulations.

Schedule

• Part-time and full-time seasonal shifts available.
• Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Event-based scheduling — number of shifts varies based on concert calendar.
