Clean and Sanitize

• Scrape and presoak dishes, flatware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to remove all visible soil.
• Run through the dish machine for effective sanitization using proper techniques and chemical concentrations.

Prepare Patient Trays

• Deliver patient trays and late trays accurately and on time, following identification protocols and confidentiality policies.

Transport Meal Carts

• Transport patient meal carts and bulk nourishment carts to and from nursing units, maintaining cleanliness of all carts and equipment.

Restock Serviceware

• Restock clean serviceware to designated locations using correct handling procedures.
• Maintain dishroom sanitation logs, chemical usage, and equipment performance to ensure compliance.
